Here's a couple pure contour drawings of the ear. As you can see they're not perfect - they're not not meant to be - but they're interesting. Try to identify the helix, antihelix and "shadow area" in each. (There's no right or wrong way to do a pure contour drawing. It's purpose is to pull you into R-mode.).
